The trailhead of the 5 km long circular trail is located in timber raft port at the confluence of the Sopota and Sava river.

The trail, which combines the interpretation of natural and cultural heritage in an innovative way and largely runs along the Sava River, symbolically bears the name of the ancient river deity - Savus. 

Try riding an electric bike!

Due to the completely flat terrain, the Savus educational trail is not demanding and is suitable for individual and group hikes, as well as for cyclists. You can take a ride along the trail with an electric bicycle, which you can rent at the Savus tourist information center at the starting point of the educational trail.

An educational trail that combines natural and cultural features

Stroll past the Savus recreational park and under the canopy of exotic trees of the Dvor park along one of the most beautiful and longest fishing trails in Europe. Try innovative didactic equipment and learn something new about the surrounding fauna and flora, or discover the trail with the help of the essential information on the information boards that accompany you along the way. The Savus educational trail continues into the Didactic circle by the pond, which, with information boards and didactic aids, enables getting to know the aquatic world and relaxing in nature. 

We recommend taking the hike in the company of a local guide, who will introduce you to this unique area along the Sava.
