Papermaking in Radeče has a tradition of more than 300 years and is one of the key stories shaping the town's development. With the water of the Sopota River and the skilled hands of local people, Radeče became one of the central hubs of paper production in Slovenia. 6 hours | boutique experience | min. 2 persons, max. 6 persons

Your experience begins at the Pavilion of Paper Art, where a local guide welcomes you with coffee and introduces you to the story of papermaking in Radeče. This is followed by a visit to the Radeče Papir Nova paper mill, where you will discover modern paper production, and then a tour of the family-owned printing house PrintCo, which reveals the development of the paper industry into craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.

After a morning of exploration, you return to the Pavilion, where a lunch prepared by Gostilna Jež, a traditional yet innovative restaurant awarded 3 Gault&Millau toques, awaits you. After lunch, you become a papermaker yourself – an immersive hands-on paper-making experience invites you to create your own unique sheet of paper.
