About us

About the KTRC team

The KTRC team currently consists of 6 members. We spend a lot of time together, help each other out, and we also enjoy socializing outside of working hours. We are proud of that. Nowadays, a team that gets along well with each other is quite rare and also a great asset. We enjoy coming to work and work together in harmony and good spirits. Don't worry, we're normal too. Sometimes we get on each other's nerves.

Each of us is responsible for our own field, but we all work across almost all areas.

Marija Šuler, director

Known to everyone as Meri, now also as the Director of KTRC Radeče. Meri loves sweets, Matjaž, music and donkeys. She also likes order and tidiness, so she sometimes keeps us firmly in line, while we certainly give her plenty of reasons to pull her hair out. Despite it all, she loves us, and we love her too.

A sinologist with a gentle nature and a heart of gold, she found her way to our little town of Radeče. She handles administration across a thousand and one different areas, which often makes us wonder whether she has as many hands as an octopus has tentacles. She mentors study circles, actively works on projects, and tourism is also part of her wide-ranging role. Meri keeps an eye on everyone and everything, and she leads our public institution with great responsibility, dedication and warmth.

Jasmina Ašič, tourism correspondent III

The right hand of our Meri is Jasmina Ašič. Always smiling and in a good mood, except when she isn't. When that happens, it's written all over her face. She loves animals, good food, and humor. Her ears always hear things in a funny way. With occasional intentionally incorrect use of the English language, she enjoys irritating her office roommate Meri. Jasmina looks after the Radeče Farmers Market and the Fishermen's Village, and during the week she is usually buried somewhere in a pile of project paperwork. She also takes care of booking your timber raft cruise or tour around our beautiful municipality. She manages the website and our social media profiles and is a bit addicted to her phone.

Regina Jakšič, youth worker I

The versatile Regina Jakšič quickly grew on us and fits in well with the team. Most of the time Regina is sunshine, laughing a lot. Except when she's hungry, then we hide just in case. It's safer that way. She loves animals and music, plays the viola, and is a member of the ensemble Strunikat. She is also talented at painting. She is excellent with a camera and studies photography, so she is the one who takes your photo for personal documents. Regina is the one who conceptualizes youth programs and is always ready for new collaborations and ideas. She is the boss of the Radeče Cultural Center and has also taken over responsibility for the Radeče Sports Hall.

Renato Močilar, maintenance technician III

Our Renato is certainly one of the most hardworking, caring, and warm-hearted people around. Always in a good mood, always ready to help, and as industrious as an ant. He tackles any task that comes his way, and with the many facilities we manage, there is always something that needs attention. Renato is versatile, has a wealth of knowledge, and is an indispensable part of the maintenance team. He also takes care of every idea the female part of the team comes up with and can work miracles out of nothing.

Blaž Novak, maintenance technician IV

Blaž is the part of our well-coordinated maintenance team who always has a playful joke up his sleeve and manages to make everyone around him laugh. Alongside his young family, music plays a big role in his life. He is a member of a young folk music band and enjoys playing his guitar. He performs his work reliably and with good spirits. His sharp mind and hardworking hands quickly find solutions to the challenges and problems that arise during the many maintenance tasks in the field.

Anja Novak, field advisor III

Anja is our associate who oversees the Radeče unit of the Posavje+ Multigenerational Center at the Radeče Cultural Center. Young, energetic, curious, and open to new ideas, she is perfectly suited for the wide range of activities brought by the Posavje+ Multigenerational Center project. Music is also an important part of Anja's life. Besides music, she adores her niece and her family and is a great lover of animals and nature.
